Community Based Arts Education
Coming in 2025...
After gathering years of community input, GVCA has committed to creating a community art studio, in the heart of the Grand Valley. This project aims to fill the needs of creatives, from novice to professional, who seek open studio opportunities in mixed media, fiber arts, printmaking, and ceramics. We look forward to expanding our Community Based Arts Education in this space!

GVCA collaborated with District 51 Arts Heritage Program to help expand art experiences in elementary schools throughout the school district. Help us continue to identify and fund projects around the valley...

Chipeta Elementary Ceramics Project
When Chipeta Elementary School was rebuilt in 2008, it was built around its kiln. GVCA is excited to sponsor this project which allowed all 430 students to participate in ceramics workshops. The students had a great time making art with clay!
